Who are we for?

Everyone! We have books suitable for in-depth Bible study, help with Christian living, answering other's questions, through to biographies and testimonies. You do not have to be a committed Christian, or regular at any particular church. You do not have to live in East London either. If you want to read a Christian book, and you can get to Walthamstow, you are welcome!

Who are we?

The Library Team

The Library is run by a team of volunteers, from a variety of churches. If you want to help, please contact us!
- Kane (formerly of Grace Church, Wanstead) designed and maintains our website for us.
- Wena (from Woodford Evangelical Church) helps staff the Library, and makes delicious cakes!
- Jonathan (from Church Hill Baptist, Walthamstow) helps staff the Library.
- Jim (from Central Baptist Church, Walthamstow) runs and staffs the Library.

- Colette (from Grace Church, Hackney) helps staff the Library. 
- Dave (from Hope Chapel, Forest Gate) helps sort and label the books.

Volunteer

• Become a Church Contact
  'Church Contacts' publicise the Library in their churches. They get e-mail updates, ensure the Poster is well displayed, and talk about the Library or get items about it put in Newsletters or notice-sheets.
• Help staff the Library
  Can you spare a couple of hours a month (11am-1pm or 1pm-3pm) to join our staffing rota and help open the Library?
• Set up an on-line catalogue
• We now have a pc, but are praying for someone who could set up a catalogue linked to this website, so that we could enter the book details.
• Donate Stock
  We welcome donations of books or DVDs, especially to develop our Children's and Young People's collections. However, we are a Christian Library, and all donations are briefly checked against 'our beliefs' before being added to the Library.
